PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet that provides an electric-magnetoacoustic transducer with a low profile and a thin and long size while causing less leakage of magnetic flux.;SOLUTION: The magnet is a long magnet where acting regions formed at least to one region of contour lines at a cross section perpendicular to the length direction are formed consecutively in the length direction, and the magnet for the electric-magnetoacoustic transducer is characterized in that magnetic power is oriented in a way that the magnetization easy axis of magnetic powder at the cross section passes from one region in the acting region through the inside of the magnet and returns to the other region in the acting region.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
