PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of garbage chips into a dumpling state in a garbage treatment process.;SOLUTION: A decomposition tank for stirring and mixing charged garbage along with microbial media by a stirrer and a deodorizing tank for removing the offensive smell of the gas generated from the decomposition tank are together provided, and a water jet means and a temperature detection means for detecting the temperature of garbage chips accompanied by the stirring of the stirrer are provided in the decomposition tank. An exhaust fan for discharging the deodorized gas is provided to the deodorizing tank and hot water with a predetermined temperature is sprinkled over the interior of the decomposition tank on the basis of the temperature rising ratio of garbage chips detected by the temperature detection means by the water jet means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
