PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a getting-off station guide system capable of surely notifying to reach respective getting-off stations without troubling circumferential passengers in notification of arrival of the getting-off station for the individual passengers getting on a train before reaching the station and to provide its control method.;SOLUTION: A getting-off station selection button for selecting the getting-off station by the passenger is provided on the upper face of one side of an armrest part of passenger chairs of a rolling stock for forming the train, a station information signal of the station selected by selecting and operating the getting-off station selection button by the passenger is transmitted and stored to a central control unit of the train, a getting-off station guide information signal is transmitted from a train information control unit for operating and managing the train to the central control unit to compare and calculate them, the calculated getting-off station guide information signal is transmitted to a terminal device provided on the armrest part of the passenger chairs, the terminal device of the passenger chairs for transmitting the getting-off station information signal making a next stop station the getting-off station receives the getting-off station guide information signal, a notifying device provided on the passenger chair is operated, and notifies that the next stop station is the getting-off station.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
