PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous invasion into an unopen turnout by automatically detecting the invasion into the turnout.;SOLUTION: A maintenance car 1 normally takes a picture of its surroundings with a camera 8 and displays the picture on a monitor 14 in the car. When it detects a ground sensor 3 disposed in the vicinity of the turnout, the turnout invasion alarm 7 controls a camera controller 11 to take a picture of the turnout by the camera and displays a monitor image to issue an alarm from a voice display device 15. A picture processor 12 determines the open or unopen state based on the picture of the turnout, and in case of unopen, an emergency brake signal is outputted to thereby prevent the maintenance car from erroneously invading the turnout in the unopen state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
