PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transport efficiency of containers in a container terminal. ;SOLUTION: A radio IC document tag 11 to which physical distribution information such as a container number is inputted is set in a trailer 2 for receiving the container 9 stored in the container terminal. Check gate antennas 12, 12a, and 12b for communicating with the radio IC document tag 11 are arranged on the upstream side of a plurality of passages 18, 18a and 18b of the trailer 2 entering the container terminal. The trailer 2 acquires the information of the container number of the receiving container 9 by the check gate antennas 12, 12a and 12b. Vehicle monitoring antennas 16 and 16a for communicating with the radio IC document tag 11 are arranged in the vicinity of a container terminal entrance gate 1. A crowded state of the respective passages 18, 18a, 18b is measured by data just before passing time of the trailer 2 up to the vehicle monitoring antennas 16 and 16a from the check gate antennas 12, 12a and 12b to predict the arrival time and order of the trailer 2 arriving at the container terminal for preparing carrying-out of the container 9 in the container terminal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
