PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landing hall device of an elevator, its control method and a fire protection system for reducing restriction on design and use around a landing hall with a housing space of a flame and smoke shielding member at fire occurring time, and surely cutting off intrusion of a flame and smoke into the hoistway side from the landing hall side at the fire occurring time. ;SOLUTION: This landing hall device of the elevator has a landing door 1 for allowing boarding-alighting to a riding car 17 from the doorway arranged in a landing hall 8 in a building so as to open toward a hoistway 18 for lifting the riding car 17. A sealing member 10 is arranged on the hoistway 18 side of the landing door 1 for sealing the doorway from the hoistway 18 when a fire is caused in the building.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
