A customer-based and customer-initiated electronic content presentment,response andanalysis system is configured to allow customer to trigger the delivery ofcontent such as statements,bills, invoices, advertisements and newsletters in electronic form. On thecontent receiver side, thesystem provides functionalities to schedule when to poll electronic contentsfrom content providers,to inform arrival of electronic contents, to manage unpaid bills/invoices, toalert customer when apayment due date is approaching, to let customer to pay bills/invoiceselectronically, and to analyzestatistics of bills/invoices and expenses. Also, all of the electroniccontents are stored electronicallyin the content receiver's computing peripheral for future reference andanalysis. The content receiversystem also contains a capability to archive and retrieve contents. On thecontent provider side, itcontains an interface to allow content receiver's system to extract his/hercontents electronically. Inorder to minimize the transmission of data and maximize the security of thetransmission, onlyencrypted dynamic data will be transmitted. When the content receiver receivesthe encrypteddynamic data, the data must be decrypted and combined with a static templatein order to show thecomplete electronic content. On top of the content receiver and contentprovider sides, there is onemore entity that allows content receivers to select their content providers tobe used in their system.This selection is used to configure the content receiver's system to includethe selected contentprovider and to obtain the content provider's static template.
