Level indicator for oil filled transformers, choke coils or tap changers

The indicator has a sensor part mounted on a wall of a vessel (100) to measure oil level and a sensor shaft (22) connected to a float (105). A display part includes an indicator shaft (8), a pointer (10) mounted on the indicator shaft, and a display displaying oil level. An angle encoder (28) with magnetic hub and Hall sensor, provides an output representing angular displacement of the indicator shaft and the level.
