PURPOSE: A method for operating a cyber lottery ticket using the Internet is provided to sell a lottery ticket through the Internet, and to increase the lottery ticket sales by increasing the winning prize money of the lottery ticket in proportion to the sales. CONSTITUTION: A client connects to a cyber lottery ticket operation server system through a communication network(100). The system displays an initial screen of a cyber lottery ticket site providing the lottery ticket information on a client system(110). The client inputs a lottery ticket number to buy(120). In case that the inputted lottery ticket number is not overlapped with the lottery ticket sold to other client, a screen for selecting a payment method of the lottery ticket is displayed on the client system(150). The server confirms the payment through a payment system of a cooperating financial organization(160). After confirming the payment, the lottery ticket number is stored in a lottery ticket information database(170). The server informs the winning client of the winning fact through an e-mail(200). The final winning money is decided by proportioning to the total lottery ticket sales amount.
