Data service system and method for data servicing in mobile telecommuication network

PURPOSE: A data service system in a mobile communication network and a service method therefor are provided to perform a data communication through a voice channel without the help of an IWF(Inter Working Function) or the expansion of the IWF. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(25) mounts wireless data on a voice channel, and communicates with a network. The mobile terminal(25) applies a layer 2 protocol for the reliability assurance of the wireless data and an application interface, and communicates with the network. A BSC(Base Station Controller)(27) bypasses a vocoder function with respect to wireless data received from the mobile terminal(25) or an MSC(29), and outputs the wireless data to the MSC(29) or the mobile terminal(25). The MSC(29) connects between the BSC(27), and a PPDN(Public Packet Data Network) and a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network).
