Composition for External Skin Application containing Hedyotis Diffusa Willd Extract

PURPOSE: An external preparation composition containing as an effective ingredient an Oldenlandiae Herba extract which has excellent antioxidant effect and is obtained by successively extracting in accordance with a change in polarity is provided. Therefore, the composition has excellent skin improving and/or activating effects. CONSTITUTION: An external preparation composition contains 0.0001 to 10% by weight of an Oldenlandiae Herba extract, based on the total weight of the composition. The Oldenlandiae Herba extract is obtained by pulverizing Oldenlandiae Herba and extracting the pulverized material in a solvent and concentrating in a distillation apparatus attached to a cooling condenser under reduced pressure. The solvent is selected from the group consisting of C1-4 anhydrous or hydrous lower alcohol(methanol, ethanol), acetone, ethyl acetate, diethylether, benzene, chloroform or hexane.
