Fault Reporting Method Of Exchange System Using Wire/Wireless Communication Terminal

PURPOSE: A method of informing on a switching system failure using a wire/wireless terminal is provided to inform on failure information generated while operating a switching system through the wire/wireless terminal in real time, and to pre-register failure codes to selectively monitor a specific failure, so as to efficiently manage the switching system. CONSTITUTION: A failure manager collects failure information(S61). The failure manager transmits the failure information having failure codes to a call tracking path manager of an alarm call processor(S62). A call tracking path setup unit confirms whether a presently-generated failure code is registered in a database having a calling function at the request of the call tracking path manager(S63). If so, the call tracking path setup unit transmits a wire/wireless terminal number of an operator and an operator route number to the call tracking path manager(S64). The call tracking path manager transmits the failure information, the wire/wireless terminal number, and the operator route number to a call processor(S65). The call processor calls a wire/wireless terminal through a device controller(S66). The call processor informs the wire/wireless terminal of rank state information of a presently-generated failure(S67). If the failure code is not registered in the database in the step 'S63', the call tracking path setup unit reports to the failure manager, to make the failure manager perform a failure informing operation(S68).
