PURPOSE: An extracting process for effective ingredient from rooibos, and a preparing process for cosmetic water, weak-oily cream and emollient cream using rooibos extract are provided, an effective ingredient extracted from which shows treatment effects on comedones, atopic dermatitis and various skin disease. CONSTITUTION: The extracting process for effective ingredient from rooibos comprises: pulverizing rooibos leaves into finely, adding distilled water and boiling at 100C for 20minutes; filtering and concentrating under decompression to get the concentrate; adding distilled water and anhydrous ethanol and mixing, and leaving at cooled place for 7-10days; filtering precipitates, and adding 50v/v% ethanol to get the rooibos extract. And the preparing process for cosmetic water using rooibos extract comprises of: mixing rooibos extract 1-20% and distilled water 58-90% with ethanol 5-20%, adequate quantity of surfactants, preservatives, perfume, colors, buffers 1%, and beauty ingredients, and dissolving; and filtering to get the cosmetic water.
