PURPOSE: A broadband sector antenna using a delta loop radiating element is provided to improve service quality, reduce the number of antennas, and reduce installment cost. CONSTITUTION: A broadband sector antenna comprises two stage array of delta loop radiating elements(26), a bridge type parallel line, a ground distributor, a distributor(24), an impedance converter, and a feeding cable(23). A feeding signal from the feeding cable(23) is divided into two signals by the distributor(24). The divided signals are transferred, respectively, to the delta loop radiating elements(26) through the bridge type parallel line. At each of the delta loop radiating elements(26), the transferred signal is branched to a left and a right loops through a center feeding point. The delta loop radiating elements(26) are made of yellow copper or a printed circuit board and are formed as a Δ shape. The feeding cable is connected to the distributor(24) by soldering and their heights are maintained by a cable support. The impedance converter performs impedance matching between the distributor(24) and the parallel line. The ground distributor is coupled to the ground side of the parallel line.
