Linen effect yarn by using natural spun yarn and synthetic yarn and its manufacturing method

PURPOSE: A method of preparing a linen-like yarn by applying heat only to a synthetic fiber yarn during feeding natural spun yarn and thermoplastic synthetic fiber yarn and then subjecting two yarns to twisting with a spinner is provided. Whereby, the produced yarn has tough feeling similar to linen yarns as well as characteristics of natural spun yarns and polyester yarns. CONSTITUTION: A natural spun yarn(C) like cotton yarn and a thermoplastic synthetic fiber yarn(P) like polyester yarn are introduced into a first heating chamber(21) in which a temperature is maintained within the range of a melting point of the synthetic fiber yarn and second heating chamber(24) at 150 to 170deg.C and then they are subjected to a twisting process with a spinner(22) disposed between the first heating chamber and second chamber, from a creel(11). Thereafter, the melted yarn is cooled and wound and the wound yarn is subjected to a weight production processing. The cotton has 40 yarn number count(cotton yarn number of British type) and the polyester has 130deniers/36 filaments.
