PURPOSE: An auxiliary arm is provided to reduce dangers or working, while allowing for ease of adjustment of working range by permitting the length and direction of the auxiliary arm to be adjusted. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary arm comprises an auxiliary arm support unit(100) having a connecting and fixing portion(130) for connecting and fixing the auxiliary arm to a jib boom fixing box of a bucket truck, and a vertical operating portion(110) for permitting an insulator rod support unit(200) to move in a vertical direction; the insulator rod support unit mounted to the auxiliary arm support unit, and which has a lengthwise adjustment hydraulic cylinder mounted within the insulator rod support unit; an insulator rod(300) sliding in a lengthwise direction by the lengthwise adjustment hydraulic cylinder of the insulator rod support unit, and which is constituted into multiple stages so as to maintain an electrical insulated state; a tool connection unit(400) arranged at the front end of the insulator rod; and a hydraulic pipe(500) for supplying hydraulic oil to the hydraulic cylinders.
