Investigation of power system blackouts and reliability improvement for power distribution systems.

摘要

In this dissertation the general features of power system blackouts are investigated based on the mechanism models and the statistical theories are applied as well. The statistical distribution of blackouts is first proposed using the mechanism model. Numerical results verified the validity of the proposed distribution. A new program package to evaluate the quantitative impact of automatic switches on the reliability of power distribution systems is also developed.
