The common rail injector has an injector housing (1), a nozzle needle (8) that is guided in the housing and a control chamber (13) bounded by a casing, an end surface of the nozzle needle and an intermediate plate. The casing and the intermediate plate are implemented in one piece (11) also containing an inlet choke and an outlet choke.
