Device comprises a display generation unit (2) for conversion of display contents into image files, a unit (3) for file storage and a data management unit (4). The file storage unit is divided into a database (3a) for storage of display contents as files and a software database (3b) containing programs for processing the display contents and image files. The display generation unit converts the display contents into graphics files that can then be processed with the programs stored in the software database.
