Measurement arrangement for determination of the magnetic deviation of compass systems in aircraft by use of a rotating compensation platform and one or more arrow markings for the exact magnetic North direction. Within the aircraft two bearing markers (MP1, MP2) are placed on its longitudinal axis. A theodolite (T) is used to take a bearing to a true magnetic North marker and the two axis markers and from them compensation values determined.
