High-frequency (HF) coil as sender and/or receiver for sending and/or detecting HF impulses in nuclear spin tomography or magnetic resonance tomography or spectroscopy for medical diagnosis of individual parts of a patient's body is placed in molding(s) taking the part being examined, to fit the coil to this part. The novelty is that the molding is made from crosslinked polymer with a temperature-dependent shape memory effect. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Nuclear spin tomography or magnetic resonance tomography or spectroscopy for medical diagnosis of an individual part of a patient's body, comprising the HF coil with the specified molding and a computer for producing the magnetic resonance image needed for diagnosis; (2) Use of a crosslinked polymer material with temperature-dependent memory effect for the production of a molding for a HF coil of a nuclear spin or magnetic resonance tomograph to fit the part of the patient's body being examined.
