In making porous or compact sintered ceramic and/or metal moldings by making a mixture (I) of ceramic/metal powder (composite), binder mixture (II) of fatty acid ester and paraffin and organic solvent, molding, drying, removing binder and sintering, (I) is made as fluid, solid-liquid mass above the softening point of (II). The fluid, solid-liquid mass above the softening point of (II) can be homogenized by known methods; then some solvent is removed so that (I) solidifies to a green molding on cooling to room temperature.
