Electrical connection socket is set in panel and has spring contact elements for wires

The connection socket has a number of entry points [20] for insertion of electrical wires. Within the housing [1] which is set within a wall panel [6] there are spring contacts [24] which have to be deflected an actuator [25] to allow insertion of the cable. This is then released to establish good contact. The housing is secured using a threaded locking ring.
