The invention proposes that a vehicle horn (2) and headlight flasher (3) are activated simultaneously by either the steering column flasher switch or horn switch. The devices are linked through a control unit (1) and an evaluation unit (4). Provision can be made to adjust the horn sound level, e.g. column mounted pushbutton.
