Ink jet printer cartridge uses float controlled valve to control ink level in the reservoir

The ink jet cartridge has a reservoir [14] that feeds a nozzle unit [18]. Within the reservoir is a float [26] that moves as the level changes and so operates a flow control valve [38]. The valve is located in the ink feed line [36] and so controls the level within the reservoir.
