The centrifuge for the separation of a suspension has a casing with a suspension feed consisting of a stationary pipe and a pipe revolving with a clearing element rotatable in the casing. The stationary pipe (23) reaches as far as the clearing element (12), and the transition between the stationary pipe and revolving pipe (24) is installed inside the clearing element. The revolving pipe extends into the feed chamber (25) and supported before the inlet to the feed chamber. A sealing element (3) is installed in the transition region between the stationary and revolving pipes.
