Supporting and radiation tube of characteristic silicon carbide (SiC) compound for electric heating element, for use in pyrometric plant up to 1400 [deg] C, comprises two SiC tubes with refractory ceramic coating, placed at an angle of 60-120 [deg] to the center below a compact, tubular metallic electric heating element (heating candle). They act as cantilever support for the element, which is stabilized by insulating refractory ceramic disks resting on both tubes.
