Conversion of hybrid cloning vectors, useful for cloning nucleic acids, where conversion of competent cells is done in bulk, on a solid support

Converting (M1) hybrid cloning vectors using at least one conversion-competent strain of cells, in which conversion is done in bulk, at least partly on a solid support, is new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) cloning (M2) selected nucleic acid sequences, using the new method; and (2) kits for performing M1 and M2.
