PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detoxication processing method and its system for PCB-containing electric appliances which can comparatively easily detoxication-process PCB-containing electric appliances at a low cost.;SOLUTION: This detoxication processing system 10 is constituted by providing a PCB recovering device 11 which recovers PCB 1 from an electric appliance 100, a roughly washing device 12a which roughly washes the electric appliance 100 with a washing liquid 2 made of IPA, a disassembling device 12b which disassembles the electric appliance 100, a finish washing device 12c which finish-washes the electric appliance 100 with the washing liquid 2, a preparing device 13 which prepares a liquid 4 to be processed by mixing the PCB 1, the washing liquid 2 and sodium hydroxide 3, an ultraviolet processing device 14 which irradiates the liquid 4 to be processed with an ultraviolet ray, and a solid-fluid separating device 15 which removes sodium chloride 5 from the liquid 4 to be processed. The detoxication processing system 10 is also equipped with a catalyst processing device 16 which brings the liquid 4 to be processed into contact with a noble metal based catalyst, a neutralizing device 17 which adds hydrochloric acid 6 to the liquid 4 to be processed, and a distilling device 18 which purifies and recovers the washing liquid 2 by distilling the liquid 4 to be processed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
