PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for supporting man/machine interface design that enables a user to grasp not only a picture which is highly frequently used but also a picture which has high relevance with the picture, and that improves the monitoring performance and control operability of a plant.;SOLUTION: Information such as called monitor picture numbers is encrypted and stored in an operation recording part 103, and the contents information of an operation instruction transmitted through an operation inputting device 111 is encrypted and stored in an operation recording part 104. An analyzing tool 121 extracts the information stored in the operation recording part 104 and outputs an analytic result 122. Then, "the number of times of picture display" indicating the number of times of calling, "picture transition condition" indicating the display frequency of pictures displayed before and after a certain monitor picture and "operation relevant information" indicating the transition of pre-and-post execution pictures such as picture transition is provided as the analytic result 122. Thus, it is possible for a person in charge of repair of a plant monitor controller to configure a display menu, or to carry out the streamlining of the pictures by referring to the analytic result 122.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
