PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage tank having a function of reducing the heat transfer between the outside and the inside of pipe walls of a container in order to reduce the change in temperature of the liquid in the container. PSOLUTION: The hot water storage tank comprises a metallic tank of a predetermined shape with a lid fitted thereto, and having a hot water storage means inside thereof. A plurality of single bodies of the same diameter and the same length formed of synthetic resin of high heat insulation having independent sealed air cells of a predetermined volume are arranged in parallel or in series in a single layer or multiple layers in the metallic tank, and the metallic tank has a function of reducing the heat transfer by a means to reduce the heat conduction attached to the outside of pipe walls of the container, a bottom portion, and the container side of the lid.
