PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high strength Al based plated steel sheet which has excellent corrosion resistance after coating, and is used for producing a component requiring high strength such as an automobile reinforcing member, and to provide an automobile component produced thereby.;SOLUTION: In the high strength Al based plated steel sheet having excellent corrosion resistance after coating, the surface of the steel sheet is provided with an Fe-Al based coating, and the concentration of Al in the surface phase of the Fe-Al based coating is ≥40 mass%. The surface phase can comprise ≤5% Si as well. Preferably, 0.05 to 0.7% C is contained as the steel component.
