PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing device for a keyboard cover in which the cover is smoothly slid and durability is made superior while sliding the cover along front and back directions in order to open and close the playing section including a keyboard.;SOLUTION: In a keyboard cover opening and closing device of an electronic musical instrument, the playing section is opened and closed by sliding a keyboard cover 14, which is arranged between left and right arms of a keyboard musical instrument, along the front and back directions. The cover 14 is provided with bearings 24 which are projected toward both side surfaces of the front section and rotate along the front and back directions. On the left and the right arms, guiding grooves, to which the top and the bottom sections of the bearings are fit in a freely rotative manner, are formed along the front and back directions of the keyboard musical instrument. When the cover is to be slid along the front and back directions, the bearings 24 support the front sections of the cover 14 and rotate in the grooves to guide the cover 14 in the front and back directions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
