PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specified machine for efficiently executing crosstie lifting work. PSOLUTION: The machine 5 comprises a crosstie lifting device 1 having an endless transporting chain 12. The transporting chain 12 is arranged at an angle α of smaller than 90° to a ballast track bed 14 with respect to a reference line 30 defined by curved end portions 10, 11. The lower curved end portion 11 is arranged in front of the upper curved end portion 10 with respect to a working direction 8.
