PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cheaply provide a synthetic resin-made imitation round bamboo with three-dimensional joints imitating a natural bamboo. PSOLUTION: A joint-forming device 32 is arranged at the back of the extruding direction of an extruder 31, and the three-dimensional joints are formed on the just extruded resin material 11 from the extruder 31 by means of a joint forming die mounted on the joint-forming device 32. The joints of the extruded material 11 are formed by evacuating the die to make the extruded material 11 to be sucked on the inner surface of the die while moving the joint-forming die in the extruding direction synchronizing with the extruding velocity. Since the just extruded synthetic resin material 11 is in a relatively high temperature state and in this state it is absorbed on the inner wall surface with an aid of suction of the vacuum pump, the joints corresponding to the inner surface are formed on the surface.
