PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary combustion method and its device for stably performing the secondary combustion of an exhaust gas by solving a problem that the abnormal combustion occurs in an unspecified place as the secondary combustion of the exhaust gas can not be stably performed at an inlet side of an exhaust gas system of a metal melting furnace. PSOLUTION: The inflow of the air from the gap is prevented by air-tightly connecting the metal melting furnace and an exhaust gas duct, and the secondary combustion is stably performed at the inlet side of the exhaust gas system by installing a secondary combustion burner at the inlet side of the exhaust gas system and blowing the combustion air controlled by a fan on the basis of a specific amount.
