Separation method of glass panel and funnel

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent break of a glass panel when thermal stress is applied to frit glass. SOLUTION: This separating method contains a process for melting a part of frit glass 4; a for bath-heating a cathode-ray tube 1; and a separation process for applying thermal stress to the frit glass 4 by alternately pouring hot water and cold water to be outer surface of a funnel 34 and separating the glass panel 2 from the funnel 3.
