PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an anodically oxidized film on the surface of magnesium or magnesium alloy used as a component of a notebook personal computer casing etc., a method for coloring the magnesium material, and an anodic oxidation treatment system for the magnesium material.;SOLUTION: While a substrate surface 2 made of the magnesium or the magnesium alloy is immersed into an electrolyte 4 of 40 to 70°C containing alkali metal hydroxide and aluminate, the substrate surface is subjected, as one electrode, to the anodic oxidation treatment at current density 2 to 7 A/dm2 without producing a spark discharge.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
