The percutaneous absorption accelerator and skin external use medicine

PURPOSE: To provide a percutaneous absorption accelerator and an external preparation for skin which contains an amine oxide as an active ingredient, thus shows excellent percutaneous absorption of the active ingredients with high safety and good application feeling. ;CONSTITUTION: At least one selected from amine oxides of formulas I, II and III (at least one of R₁-R₃ are an 24-36C alkyl or alkenyl an the rest are methyl; R₄ and R⁵ are each 24-36C alkyl, alkenyl; n is 1-5) is formulated to prepare a percutaneous absorption accelerator for active ingredients. The accelerator may be used in a mixture form with the active ingredients, but it is preferred that it is formulated in an external preparation for skin from view points of application feeling, easy application and safety. The amine oxide and the active ingredient are formulated in the external preparation in amounts of 0.001-10wt.% and 0.001-10wt.%, respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
