PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance capillary array device, by stabilizing electrophoresis and by eliminating deterioration of gel due to the temperature rise in a load header part.;SOLUTION: This capillary array device employs the load header, having a structure where respective capillaries are inserted in a hollow electrode and the gaps between the hollow electrode and the capillaries are filled with a heat conductive medium selected from either a solid substance or a liquid substance a gel-like substance. Further, the axis of the hollow electrode and the axes of the capillaries are arranged coaxially, and the capillaries and the hollow electrode are set in a non-contact state so that it can uniformly radiate heat from the capillaries.
