PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf practice system which enables selective projection of a required course scene on a display as if golf were played on a golf course and moreover enables composite display of an image of a hit ball and the scene and which abounds thus in the properties of virtual reality that make a player enjoy a 'pleasant sensation of flying' and a feel of presence on the scene, in a driving practice in a golf practice range.;SOLUTION: A ball sensor which catches the velocity and the moving direction of a golf ball driven from a driving position, a computer which computes the position of arrival of the ball on the basis of a velocity signal and a direction signal outputted by the ball sensor, composes the background data on the computed position and an image of the arrival of the ball and outputs them and the display which displays as an image the composite signal outputted from the computer, are adopted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
