The invention relates to the use of one or more compounds selected from compounds of formulae la and lb, the physiologically compatible salts of compounds of formula la and lb and the stereoisomer forms of compounds of formula La and lb, wherein R1, R2, R3, R4 and n have the meaning cited in claim 1. Said compounds can be used advantageously in a preparation suitable for oral care.
