PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a silver alloy excellent in thermostability, mechanical strength, and the like used for material for a solar cell interconnector. ;SOLUTION: Material for solar cell interconnector comprises a high thermostable MgO of 0.03 to 3.3 weight % or MgO of 0.01 to 1.6 weight %, NiO of 0.02 to 1.3 weight %, and Ag of subtracting weight % from the total. Parent metal of the material for solar cell interconnector comprising a comprise of AgMg or AgMgNi is melted, casted, and rolled to a target thickness under processed internal oxidation in an oxigen atmosphere of 650 to 850°C and 3 to 10 atm for 20 to 80 hours.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
