PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability in fixing a cover net to a frame body of a safety cover covering a recess ditch for preventing a person and refuse from dropping in the recess ditch such as a waterway and workability in connection between a lateral frame and a vertical frame.;SOLUTION: This waterway safety cover is provided with the net 26, which covers the outside of the frame body and is fixed to a base 4 in the outside part, and a net fixing member 27 threading a network alternately along the outside part of the net 26 and connected to the base 4. The frame body includes a plurality of fixed frame bodies arranged at predetermined intervals along the recess ditch (waterway) and rotational frame bodies each arranged between the adjacent fixed frame bodies. The rotational frame body and a rotational frame net fixed to it are supported rotationally by the fixed frame bodies on both sides of the rotational frame body. In the case of need such as need for entrance/exit of a worker into/from the recess groove, the rotational frame body and the rotational frame net are turned to the position in which they allow the worker to enter/leave the recess groove.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
