ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE OF SLENDER WATERWAY COVER IN SIDE DITCH COVER, BLOCK FOR THE SIDE DITCH, AND THE SLENDER WATERWAY COVER

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment structure of a slender cover plate for a waterway put on a slot waterway opening of the side ditch which realizes a more complete, firm fixation of the cover plate and also reinforces to withstand a load on the block. PSOLUTION: The waterway opening 3 of the block 1 is provided with a cover holder 4 with a reverse trapezoidal section fitting the waterway cover 6 at the upper part of the opening and a plurality of spanning fitting 5 whose both ends are embedded in concrete and spanned to cross the waterway opening 3 at the position beneath the cover holder. The waterway cover 6 is provided with a leg 11 acutely bent downwards with respect to the cover face and fixed to the spanning fitting 5 by fasteners 7 in a state that the leg of the waterway cover is fitted to the slant side wall of the cover holder.
