PURPOSE: To destroy acarids by using dibenzothiophene having excellent acaricidal effects on indoor acarids as an active ingredient and treating a TATAMI mat, a carpet, a mattress, a sofa, bedding such as FUTON (thick bedquilt) or a pillow, a closet, a warehouse, etc. ;CONSTITUTION: This controller for indoor acarids contains dibenzothiophene of the formula as an active ingredient. This controller is usually mixed with a solid carrier, a liquid carrier, a gaseous carrier, a surfactant, a film forming agent, another auxiliary for preparation and a feed, prepared into an emulsion, wettable powder, dust, granule, oil, aerosol, a mist agent such as fogging, an unheated fumigant, a liniment and a poisonous feed and used. Dermatophagoides farinae, Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, Tyrophagus dimidiatus, MUGIKONAGADANI, CHIRINIKUDANI, IENIKUDANI, KUWAGATATUMEDANI, MARUNIKUDANI or IESARADADANI may be cited as the target indoor acarids.
