PURPOSE: To execute the processing of quantization and extension in real time by indicating selection order by a selective signal for quantizing audio data excepting code data incorporated in basic audio data. ;CONSTITUTION: The data by prescribed number of bits are eliminated from the next low-order side bit of a code bit in the basic audio data, and the quantization is performed by arranging the audio data to the low-order side. The output side of tristate buffer 1 for every level A is connected to an output decoder 3 for level A through a communication line in the case of the quantization of the level A. At this time, a range value required for rearranging the selective audio data is supplied to the decoder 3, and the bit order is rearranged so as to coincide with the order of the basic audio data by the decoder 3. Then, the selective signal is sent from a selective signal sending means, and the order of the audio data is selected or indicated, and the quantization is performed.
