Monitoring of Microorganisms based on PCR System for Biological Treatment of Waste Water.In particular, we measure the abundance and expression of effector genes indicator / or combination of genes, where the expression of a Gene 'effector' correlates with the degradation activity of a microbial Sample and in particular, where the abundance of a Gene '' Indicator 'is correlated with the Abundance of the Microbe.The expression of effector Gene was measured by quantitative competitive rt-pcr, and the abundance of the reporter gene was measured by quantitative competitive PCR. Indicator and effector genes may be the same or be different genes.In One implementation, the Indicator and effector genes are sequences of glyphosate reductase gene (GOX) and quantitative techniques employed are competitive quantitative PCR and quantitative competitive rt-pcr.
