The present invention relates to a combustion chamber (1) of a burner for a vehicle heating body or for a filter of combustion product particles wherein the combustion chamber has a peripheral limiting wall (2), a front limiting wall (3) having a central hole, a radial peripheral flange (4) and an air supply duct socket (5) having grooves (6) in the socket wall (7). The grooves (6) are arranged in the socket wall (7) unevenly and/or they are of different configuration. A sound absorbing pipe (13, 13a, 13b, and 13c) can be assigned to said combustion chamber (1).
