A method for genotype assessment of bulls-fertilizers of milk breeds according to descendants' properties consists in assessment of their genealogy, growing power according to live weight growth, exterior and constitution, sperm productivity, sperm insemination ability. To be placed among such category as "improver" those first-born high yielders are selected only, which have given for first lactation 210 kg of butterfat or more and those which daughters are exceeded milk productivity of mothers 300 kg and more for first lactation.
